Chief Executive Officer of Springwood Investment Limited and owner of aIniabasi Umo, Uyo centre in Ikot Okpudo, Nsit Ubium
Local Government Area, Mr. Dan Akpan has said over 6,000 candidates for the Unified Tertiary Mariculation Examination (UTME)
who registered with his centre were frustrated from completing the exercise.
He alleged that Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) officials failed to solve the difficulties the centre had with its
SIM and Router registration devices, after several complaints.
JAMB’s state coordinator Mrs Odigada, admitted that she had received a letter of complaints but denied receiving a phone call from Mr Akpan. She said most of the
allegations were false.
